The Center is a membership based organization of physicians who have experienced and/or witnessed the tragedy of the perversion of medical peer review by malice and bad faith. Statutory immunity, which is provided to our "peers" for the purposes of quality assurance and credentialing, is used as cover to allow those "peers" to ruin careers and reputations to further their own.

The Center is a National Legal and Public Relations resource center. It is the goal for the Center to become the respected and recognized National leader in Physician Peer Review.

The CPRJ has been fighting for the rights of medical professionals since 1999. We  have developed strategies to fit the type of accusations as well as the source. In addition to services to individual practitioners, we are involved in changing the political climate to be friendlier to both physicians and patients.

Preamble:  What we believe in!

Mission: The purpose of The Center for Peer Review Justice

CPRJ Think Tank

Dr. Willner's Office with Compliance Files

New sub-committees are being formed:

  • OB - GYN's - most common peer reviewed
  • General Surgery -  2nd most common peer reviewed
  • Pain Specialists and Pain Clinics -  Pain Issues
  • Geographical issues - a number of state medical boards are on the warpath - we have battle experience in many states including Texas, California, Arizona, North Dakota, Alabama, Louisiana, Alabama among others....
  • Discriminatory Issues from healthcare regulation - if a medical practitioner does not follow every mandated regulation, not only will he/she not get paid but may have their license suspended.

If you are interested in joining any of these, email your interest to info@peerreview.org

Peer Review is also a very effective tool for getting rid someone you don't like.
Reasons include:

  • bias against gender, ethnicity, life style, disability
  • state politics
  • hospital politics
  • media hype- particularly if it involves drugs or sex
  • personal jealousy
  • power trips
  • gossip - the rumor mill
  • retaliate on whistle blowers
  • upsetting the status quo
  • billing complaints
  • disgruntled employees
  • not getting the disability rating that the patient requested... especially in Worker's Compensation cases

The present laws allow for summary suspension without due process.
